Everything You Need to Know
Credit coaching is a personalized educational service that helps you understand your credit reports, learn your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and guides you through the process of identifying and addressing errors on your reports. Unlike credit repair, we teach you to take control of the process yourself.
We focus on education and empowerment — not acting on your behalf. You maintain full control and communicate directly with credit bureaus and creditors. We provide expert guidance, documentation assistance, and strategic coaching. Wellington Group does not contact bureaus, furnishers, or collectors on behalf of clients.
No legitimate service can guarantee credit score improvements. Results depend entirely on your individual credit profile and the accuracy of information on your reports. What we provide is expert education and strategic guidance to help you understand and effectively exercise your consumer rights.
Yes. An active credit monitoring subscription that provides access to all three bureau reports (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) is required. This allows you to review your reports, track any changes, and stay informed. We can recommend monitoring services during your onboarding session.
Timelines vary by individual. Most clients engage in monthly coaching for 3–6 months. The dispute process itself depends on bureau response times, typically 30–45 days per round. We provide ongoing guidance and strategy adjustments throughout your journey.
Absolutely. Consumers have the legal right to dispute information on their credit reports directly with the credit bureaus at no cost. Our coaching adds value by providing expert education, strategic guidance, and documentation assistance to help you do this more effectively.
Yes. All coaching sessions are conducted 100% virtually via phone or video call from anywhere in the country. Document sharing and communication happen securely through our online systems.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You may cancel your monthly coaching at any time. The initial $300 onboarding fee is non-refundable as it covers your comprehensive 3-hour session, credit analysis, and custom action plan.
